Nederland Zeewierland (2024)
As quartermaster for the Dutch seaweed ecosystem, we are dedicated to fostering a thriving seaweed industry. In collaboration with Tekkoo, we catalyze innovation and cooperation across the entire value chain of seaweed aquaculture.
Our approach begins with gathering insights from the ecosystem, ensuring that we deeply understand the challenges, opportunities, and needs of all stakeholders. From this foundation, we work to drive progress that not only strengthens individual stakeholders but also enhances the resilience and efficiency of the entire value chain.
The goal is to showcase actionable insights and strategies to accelerate the growth of the seaweed sector in the Netherlands and beyond.
Empowering Regenerative Farming with Chlorella
​Ebbing Tides is supporting Belgian farmer Kris Heirbaut in his transition from traditional dairy farming to a circular, algae-based agricultural model. Together, we are developing new product concepts using Chlorella, a nutrient-rich microalgae cultivated directly on the farm. Our role focuses on business development, market fit analysis, and product experimentation. Through iterative MVP testing and storytelling support, we aim to establish Heirbaut Farm as a beacon of circular innovation in European agriculture.
